A beautiful adult Scissor-tailed Flycatcher has been hunting over a field south of the junction of Wesleyville and Lakeshore Roads west of Port Hope since about midday today, Friday August 6th. The address is 3155 Lakeshore Road, the first house east of Wesleyville Road where it ends at the Wesleyville Generating Station. The bird has been seen on the tops of small bushes and also on the wire fence separating this private property from the Generating Station grounds. The property owner requests that birders park on Lakeshore Road and view from there.
