OFO was asked to post the following: On Wednesday August 4, two birds of
prey were stolen from a vehicle in Oshawa.
1. Brandy (trained falconry bird) is a male Saker x Gyrfalcon hybrid with
band # CAN GLRC 4 SILVER COLOUR. Its beak and feet are yellow. Let's hope
that this bird is not released. Readers will remember the mystery falcon on
the Toronto waterfront last fall; it turned out to be an escaped Barbary
Falcon x Gyrfalcon hybrid.
2. Male Harris's Hawk: no band numbers available at this time. This well
marked species is commonly used by falconers. Consult your field guide for
its field marks.

below who is offering a reward.
