Have any of you sighted Crystal, R39 Trumper Swan recently?-- she no longer
has her yellow neck-tag, rather only a yellow R39 plastic tarsus band.
Please let me know AND inform Laurie Kramer, by email -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I know that a favourite haunt has been Pumphouse Marsh in south Oshawa, but
Laurie would like to know most recent dates.

Cranberry Marsh in southwest Whitby is a denizen of nesting activity, what
with the refurbished marsh situation.
I have spent many hours plodding through wetlands and the marsh waters,
"discovering" flowering plants, including several sedges, spike-rushes et al
that have not been noted there for many years.

Please inform others of Saturday, August 14 at 3PM-- to meet at the south
platform off Hall's Rd. with Rayfield Pye, to learn about the ongoing
marsh-regeneration processes at Cranberry Marsh.
