Another futile search today in the Jarvis lagoon area turned up nothing
.It appears something got the eggs either Friday or Saturday, as Sat.
the last time the stilts were seen.
Thanks to the many who e-mailed with information regarding their
last couple of days & guesses as to what might have happened.

Hello everyone,

Today we banded our 2 peregrine chicklets and I am please to let you know we
have 2 feisty females! Senator is 26 days old and her sister, Zanar is 25
days old. Both weighed in at 920 grams, and both have great lungs!

Both the Ottawa Field Naturalists Club website,
http://www.ofnc.ca/falconwatch/falcon.htm
and the Canadian Peregrine Foundation, Ottawa Page website,

http://www.peregrine-foundation.ca/oto
will carry frequent updates on our chicklets' progress.

Cheers, Eve
