Hello Ontbirders,

Perhaps of interest to local birders:

Today (May 25), there were 49 Brant at the Britannia Yacht Club at 8:00 AM;
the huge flock of ~1000 here yesterday afternoon have left the building.
Another flock of 150 Brant flew over Remic rapids at ~ noon.

The adult Forster's Tern discovered yesterday afternoon east of the
Britannia water purification plant was still present here from 8:15 - 9:00;
it was not relocated at 11:00 AM. The only other terns seen on the Des
Chenes rapids between 8:00 and 11:00 were 2 Common fellows.

New arrivals at Shirleys Bay this AM were 6 White-winged Scoters and 4
Red-breasted Mergansers. There are still LOTS of Blackpolls Warblers moving
through the area.

Good birds to all,
Chris Lewis (posting for Bob Bracken & Paul Mirsky)
