Hi!

On Tuesday, 18 May, 2 Yellow-throated Vireos were seen, in a mixed flock of warblers. The observation was made around the research station of the Bruce Peninsula Bird Observatory,at Cabot Head, on the Georgian Bay.

The foggy day was very productive, as 22 species of warblers were seen, and 5 species of Vireos; apart from the Yellow-throated, the White-eyed vireo banded the day before was seen again. Red-eyed, Philadelphia and Warbling Vireos were all seen as well.

Cabot Head Research Station is located near DyerÂ’s Bay, on the Bruce Peninsula. Acces to the station is limited. Please contact us for a visit.
