White-winged Dove at Point Pelee

At 10:15 this morning (May 15) a White-winged Dove was perching in the tops of
trees within the Loop Woods at the Tip, seen by numerous observers. The bird
was last seen flying north with two Mourning Doves towards the north end of
Loop Woods and the Sparrow Field, where presumably all three birds landed.
This is a new species for the Point Pelee Birding Area.

We will provide an update later this morning.
