Tha Hamilton Community Peregrine Project is pleased to announce the birth yesterday and today of at least three baby Peregrine Falcons in the nest above a window ledge on the King Street face of the Hamilton Sheraton Hotel. Mother and chicks appear to be doing well. A fourth is possible. This is the tenth year Peregrines have nested at this location and the eighth successful hatching. www.hamiltonnature.org/hamfalcam.html The Hamilton Sheraton Hotel is located on King St., just east of Bay Street, in downtown Hamilton. The nest can be located by looking for the TV cameras. There's not much to see at the moment but HCPP has a live TV picture showing on a monitor in the window of the Jayset store in the Jackson Square Mall, immediately behind the Sheraton.
