Throughout the day on Tuesday, May 11, some good birding was done along the car-park roadway prior to walking into the Thickson's Woods entrance. A Golden-winged Warbler was seen by many at various spots between 7AM and 12 noon. Other good birds included the following warblers-- Blackburnian,Cape May,Canada,Tennessee,Magnolia, Wilson's,N.Parula,Am.Redstart,Ovenbird,Bay-breasted,C.Yellowthroat, AND Red-bellied Woodpecker, Rose-breasted Grosbeak,Swainson's Thrush, Red-eyed Vireo, Warbling Vireo,Philadelphia Vireo,Baltimore Oriole, and on & on.
