I just returned from Elk Lake Eco-Resource centre and the Rock Wren was there as of 10:00 AM Friday, May 7. This is at least 4 days in a row the bird has been seen. Elk Lake is 180 KM north of North Bay to Hwy 65 and west on #65 for about 70KM. To get to the Eco-Resource centre, follow the signs. Ontbirders, Barry Kinch phoned to say that his e-mail has not been working. Barry saw the Rock Wren at 10 am this morning, Friday, May 7. It's been seen on four consecutive days so there's a good chance of seeing it this weekend. He asked me to post directions again and his phone number.
