While working in the MTO complex at Keele and Wilson yesterday (April 6th) in Toronto I was informed by one of my co-workers that there was a rather strange bird on the front lawn of the building. We went and had a good look and, low and behold, it was a Chukar. The bird is not banded and flies well although it appears to have a minor injury on its head. It was feeding on the lawn on the east side of Building D in the MTO Downsview complex at Keele St. and Wilson Ave in Toronto. The complex is easily accessed by exiting the 401 at Keele St. Building D is the third building in from Keele and is clearly marked.
