7 am report for May 3, 2004

Very cold overnight, with some clearing.

Refound yesterday, May 2nd, was the Yellow-throated Warbler, this time ranging
between White Pine parking lot and the Willow picnic area, travelling with a
large mob of mixed warblers, many Yellowrumps, several of Black-throated Green,
Nashville, a Blackburnian, a Parula, a Blackthroated Blue, etc. Previously just
across the street at Chickopin Trail.
Also located late yesterday, was a LeContes Sparrow, at post 17 on the woodland
Nature Trail, look from the Redbud trail, into the cleared area, in the Cedar
Rehab area near post 17.
And 2 Hooded Warblers were mentioned as being in Tilden's Woods.
Worm-eating was found off and on all day along Woodland Trail, usually in area
of post 14 and 17, usually with sparrows, and a small flock of warblers.

That's all for now, our regular posting will occur a bit later today...just
wanted to let you know about the late reports from yesterday...

Can't comment right now about the above species for today, as I am just going
out. You could try phoning the Centre.
