Greetings: There were 3 turkeys in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area this morning. They were about 100 metres south of the Sulphur Springs train station, along the Bruce Trail. We've been there hundreds of times but this was a first for us. Also of note, there was a marked increase in the evidence of Pileated Woodpecker activity, (new, hugh, square holes) a species that is commonly found along the escarpment in this area.
The old train station is located off Rd. 99 about 5 km west of Dundas. There is a fee of $2.00 for use of the conservation area Wayne Bullock Ancaster, Ontario [EMAIL PROTECTED]
