Hi Ontbirders, While driving along Highways 9 and 404 today, I saw some interesting birds.
First was a NORTHERN GOSHAWK displaying over the woodlot on the south-east corner of Hwy 9 and the Caledon-King Town Line Rd. Further east, a NORTHERN SHRIKE was hunting along Hwy 9 at Showa Court. On Hwy 404 at Stouffville Rd, a PEREGRINE FALCON flew over the highway heading west. The sites on Hwy. 9 are west of Hwy. 400. Happy spring birding!
