Ont. Birders,
This afternoon, around 4:45p.m., whilst counting a constant stream of
Turkey Vultures flying west past the tower, Keith Sealey, Dave Sked, and myself
picked out a Black Vulture flying with them in the same direction. George
Meyers, had only moments before told me a story of one he had seen here exactly
10 years to the day. Ironically George did not stay to see this one.
Cheers, Tom Thomas.
Beamer Conservation Area sits atop the escarpment overlooking
Beamsville......To get there, exit the Q.W. at Casablanca, drive south to Main
St. turn left, then take the next right, which is woolverton Rd., at the top of
the escarpment, turn left onto Ridge rd. then a few Kilometers on your left,
you will find the sign for Beamer Conservation Area, which is Quarry Rd.
Good luck......TomThomas.
