I saw 8 tundra swans among the large flock of canada geese at the east end
of Hay Bay. The bay can be viewed from the roadside of County Road 8 near
3156. The view is over farm fields. There is no access to the shore. A scope
is desirable but not necessary.

County Road 8 is exit 579 of the 401. follow the road through the town and
it becomes Road 8 on the south side of town. 3156 is about 20 Km.
Alternatively, from highway 33 go north at the Lennox and Addington
Generating Station and take the first turn left. That will put you on Road 8
which makes a 90 degree right turn at that point coming from the north. 3156
is about 3 km. from that point.

In the lake in front of the generating station, there were 8 red breasted
mergansers.
