Ontbirds

Migration is an exciting time of the year and birders appreciate that. But
with 1500 subscribers to Ontbirds we would like to maintain a reasonable
number of daily messages.

Please remember our reporting guidelines. http://www.ofo.ca/ontbirdsguide.htm

Expected birds in well birded areas should not be reported.

Hi All;

expected and most occasional species expected at Rondeau in May)

2. Have experience leading hikes with small to medium groups (i.e., 20)

3. Be friendly and outgoing

4. Knowledge of other fauna and flora in the Carolinian zone is an asset.

The birder will conduct 2 hikes per day and work the desk and/or trails in

The birder will do daily ONTBirds postings and update the Friends of
Rondeau website with daily sightings.

Position will be a contract to the Friends of Rondeau for 23 days at $20.00
per hour.

Please email resume to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with cover letter

This morning while having a Cup of Mud an adult Red-shouldered Hawk did a
fly-by about 60 feet behind our House. The Shoulders were undecidbly
Rufus-red and the Tail had the characteristic Black and White banding. In all
appearance it was comparibly smaller than a Red-tailed.

Also had a Turkey Vulture do a fly-by about 20 minutes earlier. This was my
first sighting of a TV this season.

Not a bad morning, without having to leave the House!
