Ontbirds The transition to the new software is starting to stabilize
Our reporting guidelines are at http://www.ofo.ca/Ontbirdsguide.htm Currently there are a lot of reports listing seasonally to be expected birds from well covered locations. Reports should be about signifacant birding events. Defining significant is difficult but unusual species, large numbers of more common species, interesting behavior can be considered appropriate content for Ontbirds messages. As always we ask that you include something about location in the subject line. Include directions at the end of the post and conclude with a complete signature include poster's name, town and email address. Thank you for your attention. --- Mark Cranford ONTBIRDS Coordinator Mississauga, Ontario [EMAIL PROTECTED] 905 279 9576 From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Mar 24 13:34:35 2004 Return-Path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Delivered-To: [email protected] Received: from tomts13-srv.bellnexxia.net (tomts13.bellnexxia.net [209.226.175.34]) by king.hwcn.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 1151347F93 for <[email protected]>; Wed, 24 Mar 2004 13:34:35 -0500 (EST) Received: from LewingtonHome ([65.92.47.81]) by tomts13-srv.bellnexxia.net (InterMail vM.5.01.06.05 201-253-122-130-105-20030824) with SMTP id <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> for <[email protected]>; Wed, 24 Mar 2004 13:40:47 -0500 Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> From: "Dennis Lewington" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Ontbirds" <[email protected]> Date: Wed, 24 Mar 2004 13:40:45 -0500 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1158 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2800.1165 Subject: [Ontbirds] Harlequin Ducks - Ben Machree Park - Mississauga X-BeenThere: [email protected] X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.1 Precedence: list X-List-Received-Date: Wed, 24 Mar 2004 18:34:35 -0000 This morning at 11 A.M., we, along with Ray Gervais and Jim Cram, observed a pair of Harlequin Ducks out from Ben Machree Park, which is located at the bottom of Maple Avenue, which runs south from Lakeshore Road, just west of Mississauga Road.
