I think Screech-Owls should be atlassed inOct-Dec when they are setting up territories and uttering the loud whinny. At this time of year they are paired and for the most part just utter the low tremolo. During the last atlas many people had Saw-whets at this time of year but not later,. this is close to the zenith of their spring massage. Bob
