Tundra Swans are returning in number. Today in the fields west of the Townsend Rd. on the north side of No. 3 highway were aproximately 150 swans. This general area in the concession south of the Townsend Sewage Lagoons has for several years been a stagging area for Tundra Swans in the spring. Some days in March several 1000's can be present. If comng from Hamilton take No 6 south to Jarvis, turn west towards Simcoe. Once past the road to Townsend look in the fields on the north side of No. 3.
