At 11:30AM, we saw our first 8 Red-winged Blackbirds of the season at
Col. Samuel Smith Park (Kipling and the Lakeshore in Etobicoke). They
formed a very noisy/feisty arc around the parking lot. There was also
one Northern Mockingbird just south of the parking lot singing on
territory and three Horned Grebes at the entrance to the marina.

At Humber Bay East, we found 2 more Red-winged Blackbirds. Humber Bay
West provided one male Hooded Merganser and nearby Mimico Creek (just
south of the pedestrian footbridge) had 27 Mute Swans and 2 Trumpeter
Swans (#522 and #607).
