Hello Ontbirders
The Northern Hawk-Owl near Almonte was still present today Mar.3rd
at 12:30pm hunting behind the farm buildings at 840 Clayton Road. It was
easily visible for the road as it perched up high in trees to the left
of the barn.

Directions: From Ottawa take Hwy. 417 west of Kanata towards Arnprior
and exit at March Road.(#155) Turn left and follow March Rd. to Almonte.
Drive through the town to CR29 and continue west on Wolf Grove Road.
After passing Almonte Sewage Lagoon on your right (an earlier location
of a hawk-owl) turn right on Ramsay Con.8. Follow to Camelon Road and
turn left. Follow Camelon to Ramsay Con.7 and then north on Con. 7 to
Clayton Road. Turn left and follow road west to #840.
