Hello Ontbirders Bruce Di Labio and I spent 3 hours this morning birding Presqu'ile Bay along Bayshore Rd (the cottage road on Presqu'ile), plus a quick check of the islands from Owen Pt. Duck numbers and diversity (15 spp) are really starting to kick in with most birds seen from the Customs Dock.

Also of interest was a Coyote sitting on packed, floating ice about 200 m offshore from Beach 4. It may be searching for ducks that get trapped by floating ice? Presqu'ile is best reached by taking the Brighton exit and following the signs through town for the park.
