This afternoon, after searching both sides of the Credit River, I finally caught up with the male and female Harlequin Ducks. At the point of giving up I decided to try one last stop, and this was the Ben Macree Park at the foot of Maple, just off Lakeshore Road, West of Mississuaga Rd. Having scoped every Duck in the Bay, and giving it one more scan to the West of the Bay, the male Harlequin suddenly popped up in front of me, soon followed by the female, making my trip, and the cold weather seem very worthwhile. From the Q.E. exit Hurontario St. South to the Lakeshore Rd. go west to Maple, and South to Ben Macree Park. >From the West exit the Q.E. at Mississuaga Rd. drive South to Lakeshore Rd., and head West to Maple, and turn right, and head South to Ben Macree Park.
