Yesterday at noon there was a HOARY REDPOLL at the Visitor Centers feeders with four COMMON REDPOLLS. It looked like the one seen last week in the same locality. However, today I could not find these birds between 11.30 and 12.30.
The FOX SPARROW and PINE SISKINS are still around there.
NB. I was advised that a birder complained that the Park Staff were not able to show the REDPOLLS. Park Staff will NOT know where the birds are unless the birds have just visited the feeders because this little group is quite unpredictable and flies of in many directions.
                                 Good Birding. Alf.
The Pinery Provincial Park, which has well cleared roads, is found on Highway 21 between Grand Bend and Northville. Today many local roads are bothered by drifting snow.
