An adult Male Snowy Owl was seen at 9:30 am Sat.Jan. 17 in Vaughan.It was
siting on a wooden Hydro Pole on the East Side of Weston Road about 1/4 mile
north of Major Mackenzie Dr. It was not relocated about 3:30 pm by a group
of Birders.A Northern Shrike and American Kestrel were however at this
location by this time.
Exit Hwy.# 400 at Major Mackenzie Dr.(Canada's Wonderland) travel West on
Major Mackenzie to Weston Road. North about 1/4 mile. Future development
site with some Heavy Equipment present.
