Hi All

There hasn't been much news from our part of the world, but I do have some
interesting sightings to share (particularly for those working on winter
lists). The snow yesterday and cold temps today has made the feeder at the
Visitor Centre a hot bed of activity. We have recorded around 20 species
in and around the feeder over the last week. Our two highlights are a male
Eastern Towhee and lovely Fox Sparrow. Both have been seen regularly at
the feeder since Monday. There are have been some Purple Finches in the
area this week as well, but no other winter finches have been noted

The Visitor Centre is open weekends from 10 am - 5 pm for your feeder
viewing pleasure! And throw your skates in too - our rink at the marsh
will also be open as of tomorrow.

Good birding!
Sarah
