To All:

The Hoary Redpoll, first reported Friday by Alf Rider, was coming to a thistle feeder behind the Visitor's Center at the Pinery Provincial Park today, 10 Jan. I and a few others saw it three times between 10 and 11:30. Twice it was in the company of about 10 Redpolls and 2 Pine Siskins. Once it sat on a tree limb alone and did not come down to the feeder.

Directions from Alf Rider's note: The Pinery Provincial Park is situated south of Grand Bend on Highway 21. The visitor center is open mornings and afternoons on the weekends and in the afternoons during the week.
