We were present at the Gray Flycatcher location from about 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. but did not see the bird, nor did about 15 others who came and went while we were there. Birders who were present when we arrived said that other birders who had already come and gone had seen the flycatcher prior to 11:00 a.m in the hawthorns up the hill to the west of the rusty machinery. Those present this afternoon scoured the property from the dam in the east to the end of the hawthorns in the west and on both sides of the stream/pond.

A Spring Peeper was calling off and on for about 1/2 hour in mid-afternoon.

At 11:30 a.m. on our way to the site we noticed a wing-banded Trumpeter Swan [#218] resting on the river bank of the Grand River with several Canada Geese between Oneida/Seneca Line and Mines Road along Cty Rd 54.

Directions for flycatcher: Once you are on highway #3 in Cayuga, cross the Grand River and then turn right on River Road. Once on River Rd. follow for a couple km's and turn left on Indiana Road. Follow Indiana Road for approx. 1.8 km and park. Head north through the field and follow the tree line to the left until you reach a broken down wooden gate and rusty machinery on your right. The bird has been seen in this area most recently.
