Dave Langford and I drove to Embro, near Woodstock, today but failed to see the Dickcissel. The homeowner, Mr. Campbell, who is a fairly keen birder, says he has not seen it since Sunday. No directions are necessary since the bird seems to be gone at least for the present. Hugh Currie
