The bird was foraging actively from low perches, dropping down to the leaf litter on the ground. It looks quite healthy. Directions: Follow Highway 3 west of Cayuga crossing the Grand River. Go 0.6 km and turn north (right) on River Road. Continue 4.6 km to Indiana Road W. and turn left (west, the only choice) onto Indiana Road W. Drive 1.8 km and pull off on the north side of the road. Walk across the field close to the right hand edge until you reach a line of trees. Go through to the edge of the pond and turn right onto the trail along a berm (dam) around the edge of the pond until the it ends. Continue straight ahead across a cleared area, then bear to your left to another clearing. The flycatcher was foraging near some dogwood and shrubbery at the sunny edge of the woods. Good luck!
