Greetings Birders,
The Bruce Peninsula National Park (Cyrpus 
Lake/Tobermory) CBC was held yesterday (Dec. 17)
with a crew of 30 birders who braved a mix of 
rain, sleet, snow and biting winds. 
The species total was 43 species (about average), 
with highlights as follows:

(2) Harlequin Duck - China Cove
(1) Black-backed Woodpecker - near Eagle 
Harbour   
(71) Red-necked Grebe [count high]
(1) Common Loon
(230) Long-tailed Duck
(5) White-winged Scoter
(5 approx) Bald Eagle
(1) Glaucous Gull
(1) N. Saw-whet Owl
(1) Winter Wren
(2) Northern Shrike
(2) White-throated Sparrow
(1) White-crowned Sparrow
(1) Pine Grosbeak
(60) Common Redpolls
