The Least Sandpiper was near the mouth of the creek in Taquanyah Conservation Area shortly after 1 pm today (Monday, 15 December). A birder from St. Williams and I followed a path along the north side of the creek to the spot across from the Osprey platform. We observed the Least Sandpiper with telescope. The bird was still there when we left.
