The Least Sandpiper was near the mouth of the creek in Taquanyah
Conservation Area shortly after 1 pm today (Monday, 15 December). A
birder from St. Williams and I followed a path along the north side of
the creek to the spot across from the Osprey platform. We observed the
Least Sandpiper with telescope. The bird was still there when we left.

(Jeff Skevington's directions) Take Highway 3 west of Cayuga, turn north
on Decewsville Road. Proceed through small town to cattail wetland. From
the culvert where the stream crosses the road, head right (east) towards
the lake (reservoir).

Good birding,
