Several birders looked hopefully for the previously reported Cave Swallows at Erieau on Sunday morning, but to no avail. I left Erieau in the early afternoon and went to Long Point where the sight of 1,000 plus Tundra Swans in brilliant sunshine cheered me. Over a hundred American Coots were keeping company with the swans. Several Sandhill Cranes were in the Marsh.
