On the old driving range green along Hall's Rd. as many as 10 E.Meadowlarks
were seen before noon on Oct.24.
A white-tailed Deer with a rack was on the pathway towards our raptor watch
platform before 9AM. From the platform
6 Pine Siskins, 2 Fox Sparrows, a Brown Creeper were among the many
songbirds.
3 RICHARDSON'S CANADA GEESE were noted flying overhead.

Now then, the raptors--3 BALD EAGLES, 1 N.GOSHAWK, 3 Rough-legged, 3
Red-shouldered and 75 Red-tailed Hawks were among the 138 over a7-hour
period.

Cranberry Marsh is at the foot of Hall's Rd., accessed from Victoria St. in
southwest Whitby.
