Observations: The flight was generally spread over the whole sky and at all altitudes throughout the day. The day was slow in contrast to recent ones although the Accipiter flight continued to be strong with lots of direct comparisons for the novice and experienced watcher alike. An interesting side note was the massive hatch of ladybugs brought on by the 70-degree temperature making the presence of yellow jackets trivial to say the least. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ The primary site used by Southeastern Michigan Raptor Research (SMRR) is the Boat Launch at Lake Erie Metropark located approximately 20 miles south of Detroit, Michigan.
