The winds at Hawk Cliff today were well over gale force and local weather stations reported winds up to 70kph. The cloud cover was 80-100% for the entire count period but with no rain. Temp made it just to 12 today but it sure felt warmer than yesterday in the snow! Observations: As expected there were some awesome sightings of Peregrines today with a total of 19. It is truly remarkable how they cruise sideways into the wind, hanging effortlessly on the updrafts at the cliffs edge.
