The Selkirk hawk station was in operation on Saturday. Raptors seen were Turkey Vulture 35, Bald Eagle 1, Northern Harrier 11, Sharp-shinned Hawk 53, Broad-winged Hawk 25, Red-tailed Hawk 3, American Kestrel 14. Merlin 2, Peregrine Falcon 1 Total 145
The"killer" grouse is still attacking walkers on the nature trail on the west side of the park. This bird comes up behind you and hits you on the back of the leg with it's wings as it follows you alone the trail.
