Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 16:30:00
Total observation time: 9.5 hours

Official Counter: Calvin Brennan

Observers:

Visitors:
Will Weber
Doug Wells
Ron Dewalt

Weather:
Todays weather in many respects was similar to yesterdays but with less
precipitation and a slight northerly component to the west wind. There was
only an occasional sprinkle in the afternoon although it gave the
appearance of impending rain on several occasions.

Observations:
The wind factor was enough to push some birds over the lake and Point
Mouillee was used during several hours at midday. However, the majority of
the flight was over the boat launch with groups of Broad-wings still
coming through in considerable numbers into the early evening. One group
of about 200 Broad-wings during mid afternoon held a dark morph Swainsons
Hawk, the fourth tallied for the season.
