Weather:
Today saw mixed conditions with lots of cumulous clouds to aid the spotters
for what turned out to be a very good flight. Winds were moderate to
fairly strong out of the west.

Observations:
As is typically with west winds, the flight was spread out over the entire
sky but much of it was over the count area. Many of those assembled were
able to enjoy stream after stream of Broad-wings overhead, some high, but
many at much lower altitudes. The movement continued into the early
evening with many birds dropping down to the north, presumably where they
will roost for the night. It will be interesting to see if there is any
substantial lift off early in the day tomorrow.
