For western Lake Erie overnight winds are predicted to be southwest,
becoming stronger in the morning and switching to the south --
possibility of passing thunderstorms. These conditions could be
excellent for the Tip of Point Pelee (I'll be there).

The southwest winds should also be good again for the eastern end of Lake
Erie at Waverley Beach (Fort Erie).

Note that today (23rd) both a Band-rumped Storm-Petrel and a Sooty Tern
were reported at Hamlin Beach in New York, which is on Lake Ontario about
mid-way between the Niagara River and Rochester.
