Around 5:45 pm, the six (well I counted five for sure) Buff-breasted Sandpipers
were found by a group of us, after a long search, at the very end of the
tree-lined part of Concession D where there is a pumphouse and a dike that
overlooks water. They were on the north side of the road and provided wonderful
views from the dike. They were often to be found in the tractor tracks and were
very very close. They were very active and hard to spot.

Concession D is the 2nd road up from the Point Pelee entrance gate going east.

A Brown Thrasher was in a tree right beside us.
