Although not a heavy flight day, today continued the trend of a gradual buildup to the season. Observations: A modest increase over yesterdays totals was recorded with 93 birds of 9 species observed for the day. Several Red-tailed Hawks were noted, the first migrants of that species seen this fall to add to the residents that are in attendance on most days. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ The primary site used by Southeastern Michigan Raptor Research (SMRR) is the Boat Launch at Lake Erie Metropark located approximately 20 miles south of Detroit, Michigan.
