At 11 a.m. today the OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER was still at Courtcliff
Park, most often in the top of a bare tree. Two GREEN HERONS, one of
them immature, were also seen.

At BRONTE HARBOUR there were eight RED-NECKED GREBES, plus two
fledglings. One of the tire nests containing at least two eggs was
occupied by a d-c cormorant, while two of the adult grebes circled it.
Someone suggested a BB gun would have helped.

Directions: From hwy. 403 in Hamilton take highway 6 north, past the 8th
concession road. Turn right (east) at the next traffic light (Carlyle
Rd, RRd. 536). Courtcliff Park is about 3 km on the north side of the
road.
