We had a great walk out on the spit today and for a Aug day we found some good birds . As all reedy reported we found 1 nests of the 2 nesting Great Egret's found on the spit this year also seen Semipalmated Sandpiper 7 , Spotted Sandpiper 2 , Mut swan 48 , King Fisher 2 , Green Heron 1 and Northern Harrier 2 . And all though we could not find any Giant Swallowtail Butterflies we did find 17 species of Butterfly which was fun !.
