A day of birding in the Pelee/ Hillman Marsh area produced some interesting birds along with migrating shorebids:

Sptted Sandpiper 10 (east side of tip)
Solitary sandiper 6 (various locations)
Lesser Yellowlegs 1 (Hillman Marsh)
Sanderling 1 (east beach Hillman Marsh)
Least Sandpiper 1 (east beach near Hillman Marsh)

Other noteworthy birds included:

American Redstart (a female feeding young in nest that had one redstart chick and one cowbird chick)
Carolina Wren (1 singing in Pelee)
Yellow-billed Cuckoo (Pelee)
Green Heron (Hillman Marsh)
Least Bittern (one flying over the road on the north side of Hillman Marsh)
Osprey (perched on a dead tree at Hillman Marsh)
