Hi On a trip to the Royal Botannical Gardens "Arboretum" area in Hamiton this Sunday morning, good looks at singing male Rose Breasted Grosbeak and Indigo Bunting were the highlights, up to the discovery of a singing male Hooded Warbler. It periodically perched in the sunlight and offered good views as it sang its heart out. It was on the Captain Cootes Trail, on the east side, between the markers of Marsh Trail intersections, about 100ft from the south marker of these trail intersections. Approaching from Bull's Point it would be just after the Marsh Trail Loop intersection on your right. Approaching from the Hopkins Tract fields it would be on your left.
Also, by the way, on Friday, good looks at Bobolinks and Black-billed Cuckoo on the Jerseyville Rail Trail between km 17 & 18.
