Hello all:

We have just created a new page on the Atlas web site listing squares
that are in need of help. These are the squares that Regional
Coordinators have told us are unlikely to be covered by current
participants in their region. Click on the following to see the map and
link to Regional Coordinators.

http://www.birdsontario.org/atlas/availablesquares.html

The squares range from Lambton County to the Smith Falls area and north
across central Ontario up to Sault Ste Marie. They represent some
extremely interesting areas, and are mostly very poorly known bird-wise.
These squares are obviously of the highest priority to the Atlas because
they all have to be done by the end of 2005.

If you think you would like to help out with any one or more of these
squares, the web page allows you to easily contact the Regional
Coordinator, who can tell you more and provide maps and materials as
necessary.

Cheers,

Mike
