Hi Everyone,
I spotted 16 members of the warbler family in Rondeau Park this morning,
some of which were lingering migrants.
(mostly on south point trail)
1 Golden-winged (?-heard only), 1 Tennessee, 1 Chestnut-sided, 3 Magnolia, 2
Black-throated Green (resident?), 1 Blackburnian, 7 Blackpoll (good number
for late date), 1 Cerulean (male behind maintenance, singing), 1
Prothonotary (male-Tulip Tree Trail box), 3 Canada, 1 Mourning
(resident-pony barn), and 1 noisy Chat (south point-near grosbeak spot).
I also had 1 Acadian Flycatcher on the Rondeau Rd side of south point
trail, as well as a Yellow-bellied.

Blenheim Sewage Lagoons held a variety of things, including 2 Red-necked
Phalaropes.
Lagoon directions: Blenheim is located between Chatham and Rondeau
Provincial Park. Exit the 401 at what they used to call Hwy. 40, exit 90.
Go south to Blenheim. At the main street in Blenheim (stop light) turn
right/west. Go out of Blenheim on this road (old Hwy.3,
now called the Talbot Trail) for approx. 1.5 km. Turn right (north) on
Lagoon Rd. (at carwash) and continue north 1 km. to the lagoons. I remind
you that
you should have a permit from the town office (35 Talbot St.) located in
Blenheim.
