June 3 - At Rock Point Provincial Park (which is on the North shore of Lake Erie 30 miles west of Fort Erie and the Niagara River) there were sandpipers and a few late warblers. Double-crested Cormorants 1025 mostly on Mohawk Island Caspian Terns 11 5 species of shorebirds including Semipalmated Plover 1, Ruddy Turnstones 28, Semipalmated Sandpipers 5, Least Sandpiper 1 Magnolia, Tennessee, Blackpoll 4, and Canada Warblers Morgan's Point (7 miles to the east in Wainfleet) WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPERS 4, Black-bellied Plover 1, Ruddy Turnstones 3 Blackpoll and Wilson's Warblers Red-breasted Mergansers 74
